All in a Day visits FOPLA stores for their “Used to Winning” series
All in a Day host, Alan Neal and and arts reporter, Sandra Abma have been featuring a popular series this summer called "Used to Winning" where they head out to used bookstores on a scavenger hunt competition to find themed treasures in the collections they encounter. 2024 was a banner year for the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association. FOPLA gifts $232,800 to the Ottawa Public Library in 2025
The Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association is very pleased to announce our 2025 gift of $232,800 to the Ottawa Public Library. This gift will go towards special programming and branch improvements across the city of Ottawa as well as sponsoring the 19th edition of OPL’s Awesome Authors youth writing contest, the popular TD Summer Reading Series, author readings during Black History Month, activities during October Library Month and other events offered by OPL.
