2017 was a wonderfully successful year for the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA), as we launched a new website, increased our reach in the community, and gave the Ottawa Public Library our largest donation yet of $360,000.

The winners of OPL’s 22nd Awesome Authors Youth Writing contest were announced on March 28th at an awards ceremony held at Nepean’s Centrepointe Theatre.
